Doyle's Ice Cream Shop

Last Thursday we finally got to check out this ice cream parlor just down the street from us. Really, you can see it from our front steps. For months it's had a sign up in the window saying "Opening Soon for the Season." We were beginning to wonder when "The Season" would finally come around. It's this great little Mom&Pop shop and was even mentioned in a Spokesman Review article a month or so ago http://www.spokane7.com/food/stories/?ID=6401.
Anyway, here are Porter and Campbell mesmerized by all the antique toys (behind plexiglas, good call) they have displayed in the shop.

Mason picked out his seat right away.

It took us a while to decide what we wanted to try. Everything sounded so good.

Ice cream at last!

Now that is a happy kid!

Here is a picture of the ice cream shop. All the boys were really excited to have their picture taken. I think they were all grumpy because they all, Andersen included, dropped their ice cream at least once. 5 second rule!

How fun!! Old time ice cream shops! Nothing like that here, unless you're in the ghetto!

My dad is from Spokane and he said he's heard of the ice cream shop! What a small world!
