Yesterday we decided to go for a drive up to Priest Lake, ID to swim and eat lunch. They had this great little picnic and swim area that was just perfect. The water felt sooooo good on such a hot day and we were glad to be out of our hot house. Here is Porter, Andersen, and Campbell enjoying the water.
And you have to have a shot of them flexing their muscles. This is why the boys call their floaties "swim muscles".
Here is a little video of us on the beach. This is the finished sandcastle. Good work guys!
This is just classic. Little boy with a piece of watermelon with juice running down is tummy. Now that's what summer is all about.
The boys just taking a candy break. There's a trouble line-up if I ever saw one.
The boys found this huge log washed up on the shore and were practicing their log-rolling skills. They were actually pretty good. What a great day.

Oh, it looks like you and your family had some fun in the water!! I can't even imagine NO A/C! ugh! Especially being pregnant!
How fun! You guys are doing some really cool things! I'm jealous! I just want to say that I know where all of Andersen's hair has gone on his head...he plucked it and put it on his chest! haha. I'm sure he'll enjoy my comment! The boys are cute as ever and I'm glad you're adjusting so well! And why don't you have any AC? Do you need me to call someone? :)
I wish I could call someone for A/C. Unfortunately the house we're renting was built around 1908 and our landlord who remodled it didn't want to put in a unit. Usually there are only 2 or 3 weeks in August that get in the 90's, but we happened to show up for a record breaking summer here in Spokane.
Crazy cute. I can't believe you are adding another boy to that mix. You sure are outnumbered.
You know what's great about the Spokane area...there's lot of lakes to go to. Let's go camping! My favorite picture is of the boys sitting down eating their candy. It's a summertime memory. Why did you chose Priest Lake?
Hi Annmarie, I am so glad that I found your blog! Now I can keep up with what is going on with all of you! The boys are cute as ever, I sure miss you all. Sorry to hear that you have no A/C. Your rental is a great looking place though! Just pray for cooler weather I guess. ;)
