Porter turned 6 yesterday so we all went to Riverfront Park to eat dinner in the park. One of the main attractions in the park is a garbage eating goat. So we saved all our garbage to feed to the goat but when we got there he wasn't working, but we still got our picture with him. Luckily there was a garbage can near by.
After the goat we rode the carrousel. The carrousel is a Looff Carrousel with 54 hand carved horses, one giraffe, one tiger, and 2 chariots. It was made in 1909 and comes complete with a Ruth & Sohn band organ in the middle. Plus, it's just fun to ride.
Here is Porter reaching for a ring that you can throw into a clown's mouth on the other side. If you are lucky enough to get the "gold ring" you get a free ride.
Another must at the park is a slide down the handle of this huge wagon.
You can hardly see the boys at the top looking over the side!

Campbell and Jimmy are eagerly waiting to see what Porter got.

Porter picked out this cake from Albertson's. The boys loved it, and loved eating it too.

Oh Spokane! I love the garbage eating goat! Too bad he wasn't working. What email address do you have that is working? I will be in Spokane next week (wed, th & fri). I'd love to see you and meet your little ones! Would you be available to meet up in the late morning or early afternoon on Thursday?
