So Tired They Drop Where They Stand

I have been collecting these pictures over the last few months and thought I'd just share them with you all. I don't know what it is about being a kid and literally dropping where they stand, or sit. Coolidge is at that stage right now where he NEVER wants to go to sleep in his bed and if he does find himself in the unfortunate position of being snuggled in his bed he is quick to rectify the situation by curling up on the floor beside our bed or nestling in amongst the debris of Porter, Campbell, and Mason's bedroom floor, or for instance in this picture, squeezing inbetween Andersen and the chair for a comfortable snooze... How about sleeping INBETWEEN the cushions of the couch instead of sleeping ON TOP?

Then there is the classic high chair sleep. Put a little food in them and they're out like a light! This one looks so uncomfortable! Do you think Mason could have found a bigger pillow?
Nothing like a ginormous bean bag to lay your head on. That'll keep the spine aligned properly!

This one was my favorite, though. We were actually lucky we caught this one. I was on my way to bed and went in to check on Waverly and noticed that Coolidge wasn't in his bed. Andersen found him here, on top of the counter fast asleep after a failed attempt at sneaking a Krispy Kreme doughnut. Wouldn't that have been a rude awakening when he rolled over!

These last ones are old pictures of the boys' random sleeping habits. Andersen shot this picture while I was desperately clinging to those last few minutes of sleep. Literally, clinging to my little patch of the bed Porter and Campbell had left me. They are notorious for snuggling us right off the bed. Even in his sleep Porter has good balance!
I just can't help laughing on this one. I would suggest that the No. 1 rule of sneaking food is don't fall asleep in the act!
This is just beyond cute. Until that moment I never knew you could sleep standing up!

This is just hilarious. Campbell shut himself in our pantry (in Arizona) and couldn't get out so he just fell asleep! Probably trying to sneak food again :0)

These are our stairs here in Kentucky and while we were renovating our kitchen one night, Campbell AND Mason both fell asleep on the stairs. Much to Campbell's, and Mason for that matter, dismay a few minutes after I had taken this picture, Mason rolled and fell down the stairs and landed right on top of Campbell. Both were so confused and not very happy! But I just couldn't help myself, I thought it was pretty funny.
