I really am not trying to make anyone jealous, but I just have to tell you about my best Mother's Day ever! It started about 3pm yesterday afternoon when 2 of my best friends here, Britt and Lolly, picked me up for our final "Girl's Night Out." All of us are moving in the next 4 weeks so we decided to have one last horah. We started out with a pedicure. I've never had a pedicure, or a manicure, and it was so much fun. I can't stop looking at my toes. Then we went out to eat at Carrabba's Italian Grill for some wonderful Italian (of course we were talking and laughing the entire time). Then to Cold Stone Creamery for some ice cream. I finally got home about 8:30pm and even though I know Andersen was exhausted he went out to the store to buy ingredients for my Mother's Day dinner. I know, I'm feeling a little guilty.
Then this morning Andersen and the boys made me breakfast in bed, French Toast, my favorite. Porter did confess that he didn't really help because he was building with his legos. But he did make me 4 cards and I love every single one of them. At church Campbell made me a paper basket of flowers that he was so proud of.

You're right AnnMarie, that was a great Mother's day and a half. Andy is wonderful. I think the key (I learned a long time ago) is to keep your exoectations low!
Happy Mother's Day AnnMarie! It looks like you had a wonderful day.
What a cute family you have. I am glad to see they take good care of you.
Wow, your boys treated you really well, it puts my Mother's Day to shame. Travis just got up early with the boys so I could sleep in for another hour. But last year I got a rocking chair so that makes everything ok. Love the pictures, I didn't really feel like breakfast in bed or breakfast at all, lucky you to be feeling better. I like the picture where Andersen is wearing an apron. That's awesome.
Yeah, that apron Andersen has on was his Christmas present from Grandma Adams. It has this ram sewn on the front of it but he wears it every time he cooks.
Hey AnnMarie!
Welcome to blogland! ;) Sounds like you got the Mother's day treatment you totally deserve- way to go Grigg boys!! See you at graduation!
Hi AnnMarie! I'm so glad you posted your blog site. I'm a blog addict. I've been reading up on your past couple of months! I'm not sure when you move...maybe another week? Great pictures!
